In the context of the 30th anniversary of the Polish elections of 4 June 1989, BEKAP ASBL and the Polish Institute join forces to present you 300 mil do nieba (300 miles to heaven) a film about a desire for freedom by Marcin Dejczer, in the presence of screenwriter : Cezary Harasimowicz.


Based on a true story dating back to 1985 when two Polish boys, a teenager and his little brother, escaped from communist Poland all the way to Sweden, hidden under a truck. 

The film 300 mil do nieba received in 1989 the award of European Film Academy.

The screening will be followed by a discussion and Q&A session with Cezary Harasimowicz, moderated by Thibault Deleixhe. Then, we warmly invite you to gather around a small drink.
