Wioletta GRZEGORZEWSKA lives in the United Kingdom. She writes in Polish. Her biography slots perfectly into the subject matter which this year’s edition of TRANSPOESIE has chosen to address at its evening event to be held on 3 November at the Bozar Centre for Fine Arts: poets and the themes of exile.
She will be accompanied by Fiston MUJILA, a Congolese poet who resides in Austria, Faraj BAYAKDAR, a Syrian poet who lives in Sweden, Lidija DIMKOVSKA, a Macedonian poet living in Slovenia and Ricardo DOMENECK, a Brazilian poet who has made his home in Berlin. It goes without saying that it will be a high-caliber event!
The authors will be reading their poems in their original language whilst translations in French, Dutch and English are projected onto the screen.
